Flexographic Printing

Flexo (or Flexographic) printing is used for medium- to long-run packaging. Flexo presses allow continuous printing at high speed, accurately and efficiently, to produce large volumes of packaging print runs.

This printing solution is commonly used to print on items such as plastic bags, pouches, wrapping paper, boxes, and packaging bags.It is widely used for printing on the  packaging materials required for various types of food and product packaging. Flexo printing is well-suited for the pet-food industry and for horticulture packaging bags.

Gravure Printing

The gravure printing process provides precise and high-quality printing that produces fine, detailed, and eye-catching images. It works best for high-volume printing on specialty packaging (such as retort pouches and eco-friendly packaging).

Once a staple of newspaper photo features, this printing process is still used for commercial printing of magazines, postcards, printed boxes, and high-quality, custom product packaging.

Digital Printing

Printing on demand is almost synonymous with the digital printing process. It’s the most economical printing type for small volumes of custom packaging, perfect for emerging businesses that need multiple SKUs (at no set-up costs).

In digital printing, the packaging artwork is printed directly onto packaging film and then assembled into Stand Up Pouches or Flat Pouches. Digital printing can be used for single unit mock-up samples, marketing-testing initiatives, promotional packaging creation.

Yes. We recommend digital printing for custom printed packaging for small volumes. Unlike Flexographic printing and Gravure printing, digital printing does not need a special plate for each print run colour, so you can order for small volumes easily and achieve turn-around in a short amount of time.

Yes. Due to the nature of digital technology, clients can run multiple same-size designs at once, or make alterations between runs without additional costs.
